Overview

Founded in 2014, the Green Dragon Tavern is home to thousands of players of both factions. Our Raid Team works cooperatively on Tuesdays and Thursdays to progress toward AotC each season. We are dedicated to supporting players as they learn mechanics and take on higher levels of difficulty. We are always recruiting new raiders. Learn more about how to join below.

Leadership

The Raid Team is led by @Tremor and @Tribalske. Tremor has two decades of experience, plays Holy Priest, and enjoys providing resources to help players skill-up. Tribalskye previously raided with a top AU guild and was among the top Mistweavers on the server. She enjoys the challenge of coordinated team play. Interested in joining the Green Dragon for Raids? Rules

These rules are in no particular order and should be considered all as equally important as one another.

1. Follow all Discord rules.
2. Treat your fellow guild and PUG players with respect
3. Keep raid voice channels clear when in combat
4. Take it seriously: Put in a reasonable effort to learn and execute mechanics when we’re pushing content. 
   1. Joking around between pulls or on trash is fine but focus while in combat and when raid leader is speaking.
   2. Do not participate in progression raids while watching content on the side, such as a fellow raider in the same run, streaming platform, etc. You should be focused on progression and your own personal best.

Add-ons

In order to facilitate a great experience, the Green Dragon recommends the following add-ons for our organized PvP Teams. 

Required:

• Deadly Boss Mods (DBM)

• • DBM provide significant visibility into raid mechanics. This includes timers for abilities, phases announcements, audible notices when mechanics affect your character or when major effects are happening.

Useful:

• WeakAuras

• • WeakAuras is a powerful and flexible framework that allows the display of customizable graphics to indicate buffs, debuffs, and other relevant Raid information.

• Plater:
  • A Nameplate replacement add-on that allows you to customize what nameplates look like, providing improved visibility into various mobs.
  • You can find pre-built profiles for various purposes on Wago.

• GTFO:
  • Provides an audible alert when you’re standing in something you’re not supposed to be standing in.

• Details:
  • Provides a live snapshot of performance during a fight. Real-time combat log reading, damage and healing are accurate vis-à-vis Warcraft Logs. 

• Warcraft Logs:
  • Allows you to parse and process detailed information about the flow of combat in your Raid or Mythic+. This is a post-session analysis and/or coaching tool which evaluates how well you were executing spec and boss mechanics.

Loot Distribution

At this time, loot is distributed via Need/Greed.

• Roll Need only if you will equip or use the gear immediately (including enchants).
• Use Greed or Transmog otherwise.
• If you’ve already won an item, let others have priority.

BOE Drops

We don’t require that you submit any BOE drops you receive during the run to the guild, but we highly encourage it! It allows us to ensure folks that need the gear to receive it, helping us get better together, or it funds the guild bank which generously provides raid materials pays for repair bills.
